Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me (m. Rube Bloom, w. Ted Koehler) was introduced by Cab Calloway and his Orchestra in the Cotton Club Parade of 1939. Hal Kemp and his Orchestra had a hit with their recording that year as did Frank Sinatra with his 1953 recording, arranged by Nelson Riddle. Despite a mere two commercial hits to support it, the song has become an upper tier standard of jazz.

Jens Dennow was a popular Danish bandleader in Copenhagen in 1930 and 40s. Was married to Gerda Neumann, a very popular Danish jazz singer and actress. This record is the only one Dennow made with Neumann…[who is]…better remembered for her recordings with her brother Ulrik Neumann, the Danish jazz guitarist and entertainer. Dennow and Neumann died on January 26th 1947 in the plane crash in Kastrup Lufthavn ( Copenhagen Airport ) together with the American singer Grace Moore, on their way to Stockholm, Sweden. Dennow was the impressario of Moore during her final visit to Scandinavia.
