I am so very happy to find some more information about Valaida Snow. I have searched far and wide. She was such a talented lady. A lot of people (musicians and singers too) don’t know about her. But she was very famous in her day. During my performances I do a segment about her history and songs. Thanks for all the great information.

Hi Scotti,
I’m planning a feature on Snow to include selected recordings, photos, biographical info, etc. However, it is one of dozens of projected pages on various topics and I may not get to it for months. — doc

Scotti,
I completed the Valaida Show feature earlier than expected, and published it on 4 August. See the page Valaida Snow: selected recordings, 1935-1946 + gallery.
