Other songs of Winter

______________________________

Chronological list to 1/13/2024 (blue links are Songbook feature pages or posts):

I’ve omitted from this list both popular and lesser known winter holiday songs, ones that lyrically focus upon Christmas, winter holidays, Santa Claus, flying reindeer, mistletoe and holly, stockings over the fireplace, etc. Such songs, if included on the site, will be found or linked to in one or more of my holiday season songs pages. See:

I’ve also attempted to omit songs that, without specifically mentioning Christmas, the holidays, or holiday-related themes, activities, or figures in the title or lyrics, are nevertheless among the most popular holiday season songs (e.g. “Winter Wonderland,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”). Such songs will also be found or linked to, if included on the site, in one or more of the aforementioned holiday season song pages.

Several of the songs included in this list share a common theme: how love seems to magically transform winter into spring, or a winter month into a spring or summer month.
